Colour & Appearance
Ultra Elegance corals are known for their intense colours, often showcasing bright neon greens, golds, pinks or purples with glowing contrasting tips. When fully expanded, the long tentacles sway gracefully in the current, creating constant movement and an elegant, flower-like display. Under blue spectrum lighting, the colours intensify dramatically, revealing beautiful fluorescence and rich depth.
 
Placement & Flow Requirements
Catalaphyllia jardinei thrives under moderate lighting and prefers gentle to moderate, indirect water flow. Avoid strong, direct flow which can cause the coral to retract. Best placed on the sand bed where the coral has space to fully inflate and extend its tentacles without contacting surrounding rockwork.
 
Care Level & Compatibility
Ultra Elegance corals prefer stable, mature reef systems with consistent water parameters. They benefit from occasional feeding of small meaty foods and should be given adequate space, as their tentacles can extend and potentially sting nearby corals.
