Our Flagship Store Is Taking Shape – Here’s What’s Coming

We’re incredibly excited to share an update on our brand-new flagship store — a project that’s been pushing us hard, but one that’s going to completely transform the Atlantis Reef Emporium experience.

We’re just about coming out of the messy stage of the re-fit — and it’s been a serious transformation. Over the past few weeks, we’ve stripped things right back and rebuilt the space from the ground up. That’s included removing and adding walls, building tank base stands, installing media walls in our living room area, and carrying out extensive electrical work.

We’ve also fitted a full HVAC system to properly circulate and exchange air throughout the shop — crucial for keeping humidity under control in a marine environment. On top of that, we’ve completed plastering, fitted new doors, and replaced lighting across the space.

There’s still plenty to do, though.

Next up, we’ll be installing our RO/DI system to produce all of our water in-house, laying flooring, fitting POS displays and shelving, painting, and then moving into the final — and most exciting — stage: installing our display tanks, all associated pipework, sump systems, and overhead lighting.

Once complete, the store is going to be something special.

At the heart of it all will be our 2500-litre coral display system, designed to showcase our corals in the best possible conditions — giving you a true sense of how they’ll look and thrive in your own setup.

We’ll also be introducing a dedicated fish system, initially focusing on rare and sought-after wrasse, with plans to bring in exotic and very rare angelfish shortly after.

But this isn’t just about livestock.

We’re building a space you’ll actually want to spend time in — including a cosy living room-style chill-out area, perfect for sitting down with a tea or coffee (and yes, cake is definitely on the cards) while you take your time browsing.

Behind the scenes, we’ll have a fully equipped wet area for fragging, packing, and maintenance — ensuring everything we do continues to meet the standards you expect from us.

The store will also be stocked with everything you need to support your reef, including salts, elements, essential equipment, and our expanding 3D printed product range.
