About Torch Coral (Euphyllia):
Torch corals, scientifically known as Euphyllia glabrescens, are renowned for their long, flowing tentacles and captivating movement. Unlike other Euphyllia varieties, Torch corals have extended single tentacles with contrasting tips, creating a “waving flame” effect in moderate flow.
Highly collectible and always in demand, darker morphs such as this Black Candy variety are particularly prized for their rarity and contrast within a reef display.
