Neon Bastion Montipora (Montipora sp.)
The Neon Bastion Montipora is a bold branching SPS coral with intense green fluorescence and thick, sculpted growth. Under blue reef lighting, its luminous green tissue gives it a powerful glowing appearance, while the darker corallite openings add contrast across the surface.

Description
This Montipora forms thick upright branches rising from an encrusting base, creating a strong, structured colony shape. The surface has a smooth yet textured appearance, with visible corallite openings spread across both the branches and base.
Under reef lighting, the Neon Bastion Montipora displays a vivid green glow that makes it stand out immediately in the aquarium. As it matures, it should develop into a chunky branching colony with excellent height, colour, and presence in an SPS-dominated reef system.

Primarily photosynthetic, but may benefit from occasional supplemental feeding, including:

Compatibility
Reef safe. Allow space from neighbouring corals to prevent shading, crowding, and competition as the colony grows.
 
Notes
Best suited to established reef aquariums with stable parameters. Branching Montipora are generally more forgiving than many Acropora, but they still benefit from consistent alkalinity, good flow, and stable nutrients. With suitable conditions, the Neon Bastion Montipora should reward good husbandry with steady growth, vivid colouration, and strong polyp extension.
