Rainbow Lord Micromussa (Micromussa lordhowensis)
This exceptional Rainbow Lord Micromussa (Micromussa lordhowensis) is a truly standout “Rainbow Acan” morph, originally farmed by Signature Frags and first acquired as a small three-head frag. Since then, it has been carefully grown in my personal collection for over two years and has developed into a healthy, multi-headed colony (over 20+) of impressive size.
 
Colour & Rarity
Without question, this is one of the most unique and striking Acan morphs we have ever seen. Under the right lighting and stable water parameters, it displays a genuine rainbow of colours — blending neon oranges, deep reds, vivid greens, electric blues and bright yellows within individual fleshy heads.
 
The contrast between the glowing mouths, layered rings and vibrant outer rims creates exceptional depth and fluorescence, particularly under blue spectrum lighting. Each head presents its own subtle variation, adding to its one-of-a-kind appeal.
 
Placement & Flow Requirements
Rainbow Micromussa lordhowensis thrives under low to moderate lighting and gentle, indirect flow. Avoid strong, direct water movement to maintain full polyp inflation. Best placed lower in the aquarium where its colour can be fully appreciated.
 
Care Level & Compatibility
Suitable for stable, established reef systems, this coral is relatively hardy once settled. As with most LPS corals, allow space from more aggressive neighbours.
