Known for its long, flowing polyps and vibrant colouration, Master-grade Goniopora stand out with intense pigments, dense polyp extension and incredible movement that brings life and energy to any reef aquarium.
 
Colour & Appearance
Master Goniopora typically display stunning combinations of colours such as neon greens, fiery reds, bright yellows, purples and contrasting polyp tips. When fully extended, the long polyps create a soft, flower-like appearance that gently sways in the current, producing a captivating and dynamic display. Under blue spectrum lighting, the colours become even more vibrant and fluorescent.
 
Placement & Flow Requirements
Goniopora thrive under moderate lighting and prefer gentle to moderate, indirect water flow. Avoid strong, direct flow which may cause the polyps to retract. Best positioned in lower to mid areas of the aquarium where they can fully expand and display their movement.
 
Care Level & Compatibility
While historically considered challenging, modern reef systems and proper care have made Goniopora far more manageable. They thrive in stable, nutrient-balanced environments and benefit from occasional feeding of fine coral foods.
