About Mycedium:
Mycedium, often referred to as “chalice coral,” is a striking Large Polyp Stony (LPS) coral known for its dramatic growth form and vibrant colouration. Characterised by its thin plating structure and distinctive raised “eyes” (corallites), Mycedium develops flowing, sculptural shapes as it matures. Under reef lighting, it can display an incredible spectrum of colours — from neon greens and electric oranges to deep reds, blues, and metallic sheens.
A favourite among collectors, Mycedium offers both bold visual impact and manageable care requirements.
