Red Splatter Acan Echinata Colony
 
A stunning Acanthastrea echinata colony with a vivid teal-green base and bold red splatter markings under reef lighting. This piece has a beautiful mounded, encrusting growth form with textured ridges and tightly packed corallites, giving it excellent contrast, depth and visual impact under blues.

Acan Echinata are generally hardy once settled, but they do best in stable, mature reef systems. They can be aggressive towards neighbouring corals, so allow plenty of space around the colony.
 
Best placed in the lower to middle areas of the aquarium with moderate lighting and gentle to moderate flow. Occasional feeding with fine coral foods or small meaty foods can help support growth, colour and overall condition.
 
A fantastic LPS coral for adding bold colour, texture and contrast to a mature reef aquarium.
