Colour & Appearance
Ultra specimens showcase intense, high-grade blue colouration, often displaying deep sapphire tones with subtle contrasting tips under reef lighting. Under blue spectrum lighting, the coral fluoresces beautifully, enhancing its depth and richness while maintaining a clean, refined look. When fully extended, the flowing tentacles produce graceful, wave-like movement that brings life and energy to the aquarium.
 
Placement & Flow Requirements
This coral thrives under moderate lighting and prefers gentle to moderate, indirect water flow. Avoid strong, direct flow, which can cause tissue retraction. Position mid to lower areas of the aquarium where it has space to expand. Adequate spacing is recommended to prevent contact with neighbouring corals.
 
Care Level & Compatibility
Suitable for aquarists with some reef-keeping experience, the Ultra Blue Hammer adapts well to stable, established systems. It may extend sweeper tentacles, so allow appropriate distance from other corals.
