About the Ultra Red Dwarf Goniopora
The Ultra Red Dwarf Goniopora is a naturally compact form of Goniopora distinguished by its small polyps and restrained extension. Each open polyp displays the characteristic tentacle structure of the genus, creating a tightly packed floral appearance across the surface of the coral.
Although its individual polyps remain small, the coral will gradually encrust and develop into a larger colony under suitable aquarium conditions.

These frags have been propagated and grown by Atlantis Reef Emporium under captive aquarium conditions. Aquaculturing allows us to offer established corals with a proven history in reef systems while reducing reliance on newly collected wild colonies.
Each frag will naturally vary slightly in shape, size and polyp count.

Feeding
Primarily photosynthetic, but benefits from supplementary feeding with fine coral foods, zooplankton and suspended particulate foods. Feeding once or twice weekly can support healthy tissue development, strong pigmentation and steady growth.
Compatibility
Suitable for established mixed reefs and dedicated LPS systems. Its compact polyps make it easier to position than many long-polyp Goniopora, although sufficient room should still be provided for future colony growth. Avoid harsh direct flow and contact with neighbouring corals.
