Colour & Appearance
This ultra-grade specimen showcases the iconic “Superman” colour combination, featuring a glowing neon base contrasted by deep red or orange centres. The vivid colour separation between each polyp creates remarkable definition across the colony, giving it a highly detailed, jewel-like appearance. Under blue spectrum lighting, the neon pigments fluoresce intensely, making the coral truly pop.
 
Placement & Flow Requirements
Goniastrea corals thrive under low to moderate lighting and prefer gentle to moderate, indirect water flow. Avoid strong, direct flow which can cause tissue retraction. Best placed on stable rockwork or lower areas of the aquarium where it can expand comfortably.
 
Care Level & Compatibility
Goniastrea corals are generally hardy and adapt well to stable reef systems. As with many LPS corals, they can extend sweeper tentacles, so adequate spacing from neighbouring corals is recommended.
